Plant tours are available, even encouraged, so the craft and materials are seen as its being built. Lumber is brought in by the truckload from Maine and Montana forests, then cut to size for various wall heights and roof pitches. Shingles are made in Wilmington, DE; pressure treated wood comes from Virginia. We employ tradesmen from the local area. Feel good knowing that you are buying a genuine made in America product that was built with pride. Our plant is located in Milford, Delaware.

Portable Buildings, Inc. has been manufacturing small buildings since 1982, using tradesman from the local area. We specialize in portable buildings – storage sheds and other small buildings built for a variety of purposes. In fact, we recently built a 10′ x 16′ Cape Cod for a young man who raises prize show chickens!
The buildings are sold through a dealer network which covers the Delmarva Peninsula – all of Delaware and the eastern shores of Maryland and Virginia.
In Stock and Custom Buildings
Buildings can be custom built or stock and are available in wood (cedar, fir, larch, poplar), vinyl, using any profile or agricultural aluminum. Sizes range from 6′ x 4′ to 12′ x 24′.
